Began his ballet training as a scholar in Ballet Manila, headed by Lisa MacujaElizalde and under the tutelage of ballet master Osias Barroso, He was awarded 2nd place in the National Arts and Music Competition for Young Artists.  With a decade of experience, Salgado has performed in a number of full length classical ballets including the Prince and Arabian in The Nutcrackr, Prince Siegfried and Rothbart in Swan Lake, Albrecht in Giselle, Don Jose in Carmen, and Conrad in Le Corsaire.  He has also performed and countless neoclassical works by various artists over the years.  In 2013 he joined SDT and was promoted to First Artist. 

He added Franz from Coppelia to his repertoire of full length ballets as well as works by Balanchine, and other world class choreographers. As of 2017 Nazer has expanded his credits to include freelance guest artist.
